Desktop Windows XP

Nach Neuinstallation sieht das immer alles so ordentlich aus. Jetzt muss ich nurnoch Kubuntu dazu bewegen, mit meiner Creative X-Fi Titanium zu arbeiten und die ATI Radeon Treiber zu benutzen, damit da auch Dual Monitor geht, und alles wird gut.
Sowas müsste unter Linux einfacher sein…

Uh. 4 days into the newer version. Although I cannot stop but wonder why the hell the patch mentioned above aparently didn’t make it into the bugfix release

I’m not too happy with my current choice but I’ll stick with it. I cannot waist more time on this. Plus it does not look that bad. After all it’s got all I need.
As for more pressing matters: I started writing my diploma thesis at the beginning of this month so the clock is ticking now. But I’m progressing at about the pace I had expected so well .. not so pressing yet but as we all know things tend to get ugly in the later stages of writing. Anyway. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

What else. Well, nothing just now. I need to take a shower .. :)

Just now I noticed that this particular one has many strings hard”coded” into it. Quite the bummer. Though I visually like it I think it will be a lot of work to get this to work correctly, meaning in english. If only I had so much time on my hands just now.

Not everything is working as I’d like it to just yet and it looks a bit sloppy, but I’ll fix things tomorrow and will add some tabs to the top right of this theme for photos, resume and all the usual stuff.
For now I really have to hit the sack ’cause I need to be in the office early tomorrow .. conference call .. yeah.. :)
